Dave, I was so down earlier this year I thought last year was my final year on this boat. I realised that you can not sell a boat in this economic environment unless you give it away. With that being said I have unfinished upgrades and some minor fixes to do on the boat. So 3 weeks ago we had her dropped in. My wife and I have really been enjoying ourselves. The last 2 seasons we were in the 1st week of March. This year early May. Talk about a late start! I'm kind of a perfectionist when it comes to my boat so I am getting it ready for the next owner if I can get my price, if not I'm not giving it away. I have held off with the broker until I am done the upgrades hopefully this weekend.

"I'm kind of a perfectionist when it comes to my boat so I am getting it ready for the next owner" Although I have never met you I know you well enough to say I would expect nothing less for you!

I wish you the best of luck with the sale and hope if you do sell you jump right back in with another the meets your needs a little better. This economy has hurt a lot of us. I took my biggest hit a few months after buying my current boat and I wasn't sure I was going to bounce back. I was kind on down at the time and you actually gave my a few works of wisdom and I picked up my head and moved forward. I doubt this is even something you remember but I have been struggling to survive and things are just now starting to get better. I have no doubt that if anyone here can make things turn around with their business you are the one that can can do it! Things are turning, I'm getting calls about deals that I thought were dead or I lost to competitors and suddenly they are alive and well. I think good times are coming even with a questionable government things will improve don't loose the faith.

Dave you guys and gals up in HRCC and LICC seem to have all the fun. I really like checking in on those threads. I was hoping to take a trip via boat up your way this summer. We shall see about that.
I'm glad things are coming back for you I'm trying but still moving backwards to a degree. I had to lay off 2 long time employees 2 weeks ago and I really felt bad about it. They had both been with me for more then 10 years. I have some great leads I am working on for the company to get Verizon Wireless work as well as some really high end WiFi stadium type deployments where there could be 10's of thousands of users.

I'm sure it hurt to let go long time employees but when times got tough you got to do what you got to do! I hope some of these leads pan out and things get back on track then you can you can rehire the guys and life can return to normal.
Anytime you want to make a trip up this way let us know I'm sure you would be welcome with open arms. You have helped so many people on this forum I'm sure you would feel welcome anywhere you would consider traveling. The Hudson is a great place to visit but the Sound has so much to offer I hope to someday made the move, maybe when me daughter starts college. I have a couple more years.

Well Bob & Dave it looks like Wireless One will be in this Friday 5/17/13. I never thought we would be able to have a boating season this year.

Happy for you Bill!

You've had a tough NN (how many???) months and kept soldiering on, helping many of us along the way.

Savor the boating season, your boat afloat, YOU afloat!

This sure is an old thread, funny how time has away with healing. I still have stress in my life but I can handle it. It's been a long road coming back, now I'm almost a 2 boat owner. That can't last for too long......

Hopefully I'll be in the new to us boat by the 7th. The Mainship will probably go in next weekend or shortly after.
